This is what the shutter looks like.$618.60 worth to replace, but it should meanthe cameraq is as good as new.Digital doesn’t cost to print/develop film and the like. But this is the 2nd canon digital I have had that’s needed a new shutter. More baby photos to come, I have a camera again 😉

my expensive, commerically rated 1dmk2 failed yesterday morning in quite a big way,

the shutter has jammed and done some pretty major internal damage.

$700 to fix, if nothing else has been damaged. it could be an expensive repair 🙁

ive already changed, its 7:28 friday morning, and ive been awake for 2.5hrs, im now eating a bowl of microwaved/heated risotto left overs from last nights dinner.what has my life become 🙂
