quiet weekend.

January 8th, 2007 · No Comments

we didnt end up going camping, Chrisitne's supervisor was back in sydney and asked to see her over the wekened, so our camping plans were put on hold, and with a new event on the new date, are now on hold again..

i dont think we have a free weekend until the middle of feb now.. its a busy busy busy couple of months ahead..

as for ridiing to melb, I havent ridden over the last 3 monrinngs. i didnt feel crash hot friday night, and slept in saturday,

saturday afternoon, we did go snorkling at clovelley, it was warm outside, but FREEZING in the water, around 16 degrees over the weekend.

it was ok, but the water was too cold to enjoy the underwater delights.

sunday, a quiet day at home. which, every now and then is nice.

tonight, i have hockey, and then am working again at 10:30-11pm for 3-6hrs, i guess. and back to work tomorrow!.. such a life.

For Xmas, I received a B+W film developing kit (setup), I choose the one I wanted, and chrisitne wrapped it for me!

well, id finished a roll of film the other week, kodak t-max 400iso, and we got a chance to develop it on the weekned, it worked well.. we are not sure if, i underestimated the developing times, as some are a bit dark, or did i underexpose them, i was using a SRT-101 minolta manual cam.

i generally think they are ok. i dont think we under developed them, it might have been my scanning. So, now I have a full B+W setup, and can develop and scan a roll of film in under 2hrs (depending on drying time!)

the ilford 400 i was using was also more grainy.. i think i like it better than the tmax400.. though this tmax is nice, the grain just dosent stand out, i walked past a roll of 3200 iso ilford today, now that would be interesting!!
